I have come to realize that this page is best used for long-established terms. Sometimes a term herein needs defining, so those definitions are also included (in an effort at flying in the face of the previous sentence). The definitions given herein are those which are specific to the game industry (this is not intended to be a "compleat dictionary" of any kind). And highly technical terms also go beyond the scope of this glossary. It is NOT intended that this be a "Compleat Encyclopedia" - no names of individuals, companies, or games are defined. This FAQ is a Living Document, and will be added to as time goes on. So, for example, "3" comes between "S" and "U" rather than before "A."
